Everyone dreams of getting that perfect viral marketing hit that everyone will see. Shared content means more views, and that means more people will be potentially exposed to your message. But what if they can’t connect it to you?
If your business is trying too hard to be “viral,” it might forget to drive the name and mission of your business home. Great content can sometimes overshadow the actual point of the ad if you aren’t careful.
Writing for Business2Community, marketer KC Claveria recently made a similar point, saying that real viral content needs constant work and promotion to continue to help your business grow. Instead of simply relying on the content alone, it should work hand in hand with tightly coordinated campaign marketing.
